Wesley Berry Flowers has been certified as a “green business” for the climate friendly practices they have established throughout their shops to reduce their carbon footprint. These new practices will conserve fuel, energy, and water while reducing waste. Besides implementing specific programs for his business Wes Berry also encourages his employees to practice ways that they can become more efficient users of energy in their own homes and daily living habits.
The past four years Wesley Berry Flowers has been involved with the State of Michigan’s Adopt A Highway Program. Three times a year employees volunteer to clean up a four mile section of M-5 in Commerce Township. “Flower shops should be the first businesses to step up to the plate to protect the planet because it is the planet that provides nature’s beauty for us to prosper from” said Wesley Berry.
